Outside

These days in the Cluff house you can not say the word "outside" without Reese running to the door and pulling on the handle. What can I say he LOVES being outside! He also LOVES his bubble mower!

"RUN REAGAN"

Reagan ran on Canongate's Track team for the Annual Track meet the county puts on. It was alot of fun and it gave her a little taste of running track. She loved it!(why would't she..her last name is Cluff and I ran track in HS). She ran the obstacle coarse and the 400 medley relay. She did awesome! Great Job my little "track star"!!

Playing Catch Up

The second part of Spring Break we took the kids to DISNEY. Of coarse they loved it. Reese loved the HUGE "Stuffed animals". It was alot of fun to see him in Disney. Reagan enjoyed her Daddy/Daughter date, when they stayed at the park to 1am!
Todd and I went to New York the first part of Spring Break. It was so much Fun!!! Thanks Mom for watching the kids!!

Please Snow..Please Snow

The simple request of an "almost 11 year old", "Heavenly Father, please snow"!
I called my friend Paige, in Birmingham, on Sunday March 1 around ,9am, she said" its coming, tell Reagan its coming!" Well in my mind ,(being it a Sunday and we have church at 2pm) ,can it just wait for a few more hours so maybe we can't drive in the treacherous conditions and we ALL have to stay home. Come on , I am a southern girl, A heavy thunderstorm where you can not see an inch in front of you.....YES, I can drive in but, 2 inches of snow....no way!! Anyhoo, they cancelled church and we had a great day playing in the snow. The next day......NO SCHOOL....SNOW DAY......We Love the South!!

"Throw me somethin mista"

We headed down to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. It was a blast as usual! Reagan, Reese and I drove down and Todd flew out and met us on Saturday. Isabelle, Roly and the kiddos all went as well. Ricky and Haley arrived on Friday and needless to say my mom had a PACKED house. It was so much fun. We stayed up late talking and woke up early to go to all the parades. Thanks again to Maria and David for being the greatest host. (Maria, my sister, lives on the parade route, so its nice to have a place to go to the restroom or just to confine your little 12month baby who thinks he can run, like all the other kids!!)On the Sunday before Mardi Gras, Maria and David host a huge Mardi Gras party. They never disappoint.....if you think I'm ridiculous with the FOOD, you should see her spread!! Reagan caught alot of "treasured" beads. She went to class on Monday with a KING CAKE and beads for everyone!! It was GOOD TIMES, GOOD TIMES!!!

The Girls Got Game

Our little (and(I mean little )basketball player finished her basketball season on top!! She played in a local rec team but ,because there was not enough girls, the spread out the girls and they played on the boys league. Her team "the Tar heals", had the most girls on it. They were undefeated!!!That's right, take that BOYS!! Anyway, she was the "defensive specialist" even though, she stared at all of them in their navels she would manage to steal the ball away from every 5 foot something boy who she defended(some of those boys were as big as Todd). She is "scrappy"!! Anyway, her swarming defense was great, she was pushed away with great force at times, often landing on the ground with a foul shot at hand. She is not afraid and most of all she had fun! We love you Reagan!

Prince Reese

On Saturday, February 7th, we celebrated Reese's 1st Birthday....I can't believe it, I just had him last week! We had some of our close friends and family(ok, 50 people....but who's counting!)Anyway, we were blessed with a GORGEOUS day and all the kids enjoys the inflatable slide that was in the backyard. Reese of coarse, had no idea what was going on. He was a happy baby his whole party(well, he did go down for a nap towards the end). He enjoyed his cake (big surprise) and he loved watching all those kids running around the backyard. Reagan enjoyed it, like every other 10 yr old at her brothers party with her own friends there, would! Thanks to all those who came and "partied" with us! Oh and by the way...check out that awesome handbag in the background......I heart New York!

Where did my Baby Go!

Ok, so I know I always joke about how I like when" they are 5" and they go to school but really, it seems like Reese is on the FAST TRACK!! He has been taking 5 or 6 steps and I have to say, I'm feeling a little sad. I look at him and I wonder how did we wait so long to have him. He was a very patient spirit, not only was he patient but VERY smart. Why you ask? Well, if he was born to me 10 yrs ago, I would have had a FULL hysterectomy(I'm just kidding Reese) and he would have never had a sister!! The Lord knows what he's doing. Seriously, I am enjoying his cute disposition, his loudness, and his total lack of patience here on earth!! Gee, I wonder who he gets that from? My Mom says, "he is his mothers child"! I'm very, very SORRY Mom for the grief.

The Best

This blog entry is dedicated to my best friend, my confidant, my babies daddy, my husband, Todd. I got back from New York last night, which by the way, he encouraged me to go on, as I got settled and lying in bed, I thought this man has kept the house up, no dirty dishes, all the laundry done, both kids still alive and tucked away, and never a complaint. He got the kids ready for church, flat ironed Reagans hair and even put on a "girlie" longall on Reese. He enjoyed spending the weekend with his kids. I am very LUCKY, I know I am. I love you Todd ,your The Best!

Holiday Wrap-up

I know, I am a little behind but later is better than never..... right! Christmas 2008 was a great one, having Reese has made everything just a little more fun! Christmas Eve we spent at my cousins house in Powder Springs. It was a fun evening with Ricky, Haley,Roly and Isabelle. The kids had a great time and we had a great Christmas Eve dinner. Christmas morning, Reagan woke us up at 7:40(I love that girl!) and we got Reese up and came downstairs. It was alot of fun with Reese. He has no problem with tearing Reagans posters down from her room but the tearing of the wrapping paper, he could not get. Anyway, he LOVED his Gerber Treats that was left for him in his stocking!Reagan was very pleased with her Wii and all the other random stuff she wanted. On Christmas Day, Todds sister, Chris, and her family came in from Utah. They spent a week with us and the kids had a great time playing Wii together and having nonstop fun. It was a great holiday, I love Christmas and it makes me so sad when its all over.
